NEXT FESTIVAL:  SEPTEMBER 28, 29, 30  2018

Come along wherever in the world you may be, to the Hokianga Country Music Clubs, 19th Annual Hokianga Country Music Festival.  For a weekend of country music and entertainment, with 25+ kiwi bands from around our country playing continuous music in five venues all situated along the picturesque Hokianga Harbour at the top of the North Island in New Zealand.

Our country music club meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month at the Opononi Hotel starting at 1pm and finishing around 6pm.

Our talented band play tirelessly for our country singers who bring along their chord charts and new songs to practice, as well as their favourite tunes. Our Linedancers swing and sway to our music and we all have fun when we meet.

The club has been together since 1999 . The first Hokianga Country Music Festival was held in 2000 and each year we fundraise for this popular event.

Our festival is all about the people, and places, the music and the memories. Hokianga is the place to be in September. Where we put on a country show for country folk.
